Our 3D printed items are made from different materials depending on the product. Each listing will specify the material. General care guidelines apply to all prints.
Cleaning
Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth
A soft toothbrush can help clean textured or detailed areas
Do not soak or submerge in water
Avoid alcohol, acetone, or solvent-based cleaners
Heat & sunlight
Keep away from direct sunlight — UV exposure can cause fading and warping
Do not leave in a hot car, near an oven, or in direct outdoor heat
Never put in the dishwasher or microwave
Handling & storage
Handle with care — 3D prints can be brittle under sharp impact
Store in a cool, dry location away from dust
Not intended for outdoor use unless the listing specifically states otherwise
Material notes by type
PLA — most heat-sensitive; keep away from temps above 60°C (140°F)
PETG — more moisture and impact resistant than PLA; good for functional items
Wood products
Cleaning
Wipe with a soft dry cloth for everyday dust and debris
For sticky spots, use a lightly dampened cloth and dry immediately
Do not soak, submerge, or run through the dishwasher
Avoid bleach, harsh cleaners, or abrasive scrubbers
Heat & moisture
Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading or warping
Avoid placing near heating vents, radiators, or in high-humidity areas
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use
Sealed & finished items
The finish protects the wood — clean with a dry or barely damp cloth only
Do not apply oils or conditioners to sealed items — it can cloud the finish
Avoid alcohol-based cleaners which can break down the coating
Natural/unfinished items
Condition occasionally with a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax (for functional items)
Apply oil with a soft cloth, let absorb, then buff off any excess
Avoid olive or vegetable oils — they can go rancid over time
